2023 Wooden Boat Festival

Eden Murray, a queer settler, Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist, Bodyworker, Artist, and Poet, bought China Cloud on Samhain during the fall of 2022. Eden found not just a project, but a gift in this boat that will continue to teach them what it is to live life with grace and reverence for the world. Disability, and profound privilege have weft a life of curiosity for Eden. They grew up sailing the Salish Sea with parents Hans and Pamela Murray on their home built Bristol Channel Cutter, Grace. Eden studies Medical Qi Gong, Herbalism, Post Activist Transformational Change Work, and now-the restoration process of a 40 year young wooden boat. Allen and Sharie Farrell, great-grand aunt and uncle to Eden, built this vessel on Xwe’etay/Lasquiti Island.  You can learn more about Eden at www.edengrace.ca .
