In this demonstration I will show folks how to mortise with a plunge router. Many woodworkers start with a small budget and cannot afford a dedicated mortiser or a Domino. If one's interest is in traditional joinery, a plunge router can provide a maker with a quick, accurate, clean mortise which suits the logic of a haunched tenon in a grooved raised panel door frame, for example. Mortising and chisel cleanup will be demonstrated.
