In a world needing low-carbon boating solutions for our gorgeous PNW cruising grounds, multihulls emerge as strong candidates . Peter will review 10 designs from 18 to 44 feet, both power and sail that are inspired by or relate well to our long but cool season. Models, photos,  and plans will convey the essence of these boats, designed for compounded plywood/epoxy, still the lightest and quickest to build per dollar. Emphasis will be on meshing with marinas using folding or telescoping systems to reduce charges and increase acceptance. Further utility comes from fitting on a trailer or into containers for worldwide shipping.  You have to dig deep to do all that,  go twice wind speed, cover longer distances quickly, and still enjoy sensible cruising amenities. Peter will deliver on that in this one- hour talk.
