Joy In Mudville combines influences from old-time bluegrass, folk, rock, country, blues, and funk with Jason Mogi on clawhammer banjo/acoustic & electric guitar/vocals, Kim Trenerry on acoustic guitar/vocals, Paul Stehr-Green on bass/vocals, and Terry Smith on drums.  Whether an original tune, a driving barn-burner, some roots-rock or one of many Grateful Dead covers, their music is super-high-energy with tight harmonies, clever arrangements, and danceable grooves.
